Types of Property For Sale

There are lovely types of properties in Roodepoort, Krugersdorp & Randfontein;

  • Houses
    A popular specification for clients is they are looking for a three-bedroom and two bathroom home at least. A double garage, swimming pool, and borehole are also ideal for potential buyers.

    A new trend among the buyer, they are looking for a property with solar systems or some backup system, solar geysers, or gas stoves.

  • Townhouses
    Two-bedroom townhouses are the ideal non-negotiable, if three bedrooms then it is a bonus. People will specify whether they are looking at a duplex or a simplex.

    If the townhouse has a private garden, it will be preferable with at least one garage or double carport. Communal swimming pools for buyers are just an added bonus, but not a deal breaker.

  • Retirement Villages
    A lot of residents selling their big homes falls in the pensioners category. They are looking scale down and most consider a retirement village where it is peaceful, no maintenance and health care services.
  • Apartments
    When people are looking for an apartment the usual specification is one-bedroom to two-bedroom apartments with at least one garage or carport.
    Generally, a single person or young couple will look at buying an apartment first as an investment option. The apartment should have a full bathroom or a shower. If there is a bath, they can install a handover shower.
  • Vacant land
    There is only a hand full of people looking to buy vacant land to build their dream home. Property developers are the ones hunting for vacant land. They are the ones building townhouses and apartments and selling each one individually. Property development is a big industry in South Africa. Land where there are already water and electricity, and zoned for residential use, will never be long on the market. If the price is right, it will catch the right buyer’s eye.
  • Commercial properties
    Roodepoort is a big suburb of Johannesburg and commercial property will always necessity for upcoming and even existing business owners.
